The DEFENDER OT102 is a conventional heat detector for open-area fire detection. Its dual thermistor sensing circuit combines rate-of-rise detection with a fixed-temperature alarm at 57آ°C (135آ°F), making it suitable for areas where smoke detectors may not be appropriate. It includes 360آ° visible LED indication, unpolarized wiring, insect-resistant screening, and a twist-on mounting base with tamper lock. Operates on 9–28 VDC and is designed for conventional fire alarm control panels.
